Happy Tunes Records at Langendijk 37 in Gorinchem is run by Hugo and Erline, committed vinyl collectors who came out of years in the trade at De Vinylloods and opened their own place. The selection is picked with care and deliberately broad - hip hop to jazz, rock to soul, pop to folk - new and second-hand, with honest prices, personal advice and in-house knowledge of pressings, rarities and how to look after a record. They buy as well as sell, and want the shop to work as a meeting place for vinyl obsessives.
