HMV's Kichijoji shop, in the Coppice building, opened on 30 March 2017, the third of the chain's used specialists after Shibuya and Shinjuku, and it landed in a town that calls itself the music street. The stock spans used analogue records, CDs and cassette tapes, from cheap standards to the newest talked-about vinyl releases, aimed as much at collectors as at browsers, and the shop runs its own in-store events.
