Established 1974, and still at 278 Portobello Road with a second shop in Coal Drops Yard. The racks are split into Blues, Dance, Folk, Jazz, Odds, Outernational, Reggae and Soul / Funk, with deep 7-inch sections from Studio One, Dub Store, Bullwackies, Basic Channel, Numero, Ocora and Sublime Frequencies. Honest Jon's also runs its own label, so the shelf of one-off records and in-house releases is as much a part of the shop as the second-hand crates.
