The House of Records has been open since 1971 at 258 East 13th Avenue in Eugene, Oregon, celebrating 50-plus years of music and culture on a buy, sell and trade model. New and used LPs land every Monday, and the shop sells vinyl, cassettes, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray plus posters, t-shirts and replacement stylus needles. They buy media over the counter and vinyl by appointment only, and they do not take 78s. Staff are there to point you at music you never knew you loved, and the shop has been the subject of its own documentary, Walls of Sound.
