Ice Nine has been on Goose Gate in the middle of Hockley since 1979, which puts it in the small group of Nottingham shops that predate every revival and every decline the format has been through. Hockley is now the city's independent quarter and Ice Nine was there before that was a description anybody used. Records, and the rest of the counterculture stock a shop like this has always carried.
