Chris Farrell, a Bristol DJ, extended his dance label into a shop in 2011 to fill the gap left when the specialist outlets on Stokes Croft closed. It moved to City Road in St Pauls in 2017, and that shop closed in 2022 - at which point Farrell asked the city for help and a community campaign raised the money to put it back. It reopened on Lower Park Row in late 2024. The stock is house, techno, bass and the space around them, and it has always worked as a meeting point for DJs, producers and collectors as much as a counter.
