Illogicall Music on rue Blanche in Paris 9 runs as two shops in one. Half the stock is second-hand original vinyl in rock, jazz, soul and funk, French music, world music and classical, chosen on the argument that many modern reissues are cut from compressed digital files rather than the original analogue masters. The other half is pop, where they claim the largest catalogue in Europe: Madonna at 5000 references, Mylene Farmer at 2000, Michael Jackson and Britney Spears at 800 each, Lady Gaga and Celine Dion at 400. Renan runs the counter and the website, and they ship worldwide.
