In Your Ear has been selling records to Boston students since 1982, out of two shops - one near the BU and BC campuses and one in Harvard Square - and the experience is the same in both: down a staircase into a basement holding a genuinely enormous quantity of vinyl, arranged with more enthusiasm than system.
