Jesse Carl Vinyl is a record store in downtown Lakeland selling used and new vinyl and CDs, owned by Lakeland native Jessi Zilka. The shop is named for her grandfather Jesse Carl Ellerbe, a US Navy veteran of World War II whose guitar and influence set her on a professional career in music; she started collecting in late high school and has been hunting a great find ever since. Her father Tommy was her business partner and manager for almost 10 years until he passed away in September of 2025, and the team carry on in his name. There is a Sell to Us counter, an eGift card, the Jesse Carl Vinyl Record Club and the Lakeland Record Fair.
