Jet Set started in Kyoto in the nineties, formally as Futurama Co., and opened its Tokyo shop in Shimokitazawa in 2002, moving within the neighbourhood in 2009. It is small but its buying is not: hip-hop, jazz, soul, techno and indie-pop across new and second-hand, and it is one of the larger vinyl operations in the country when the Kyoto headquarters is counted.
