Josey Records sits in the Lamy's building in downtown Sedalia, part of a franchise that originated in Dallas and also runs stores in Lubbock, Tulsa and Kansas City, so Sedalia gets a lot of the same product as the bigger markets. Walk in and the large selection of records and books is the first thing you see: new and used records, books, CDs and DVDs, with several listening stations for records and a fireside seating area for the books, plus entry to upper level record players and accessories. The buyback desk takes albums, books and media off your hands for cash.
