Kingbee has been on Wilbraham Road in Chorlton since 1987 and has rarely changed a thing in the decades since - same fittings, same density of stock, same Sunday afternoons spent working through it. It is a second-hand shop of the old kind, well outside the city centre, and it survives on being worth the tram ride rather than on passing trade. For a lot of Manchester diggers it is the first shop they were ever taken to.
