Owner Eva Michálková worked at the Odeon publishing house before 1989, founded her own imprint Aurora in 1993 and opened her first bookshop in Žižkov; the shop at Spálená 53 has been open since 2010. Tens of thousands of new and used books sit with gramophone records, postcards, posters, prints and magazines, and anything not in stock gets ordered in, records included, some imported from abroad. The antikvariát buys as well as sells across the whole range, textbooks and computing literature excepted.
