Laurie's Planet of Sound has been on North Lincoln Avenue since 1997 and is the only independent music and video shop Lincoln Square has. New and used records and CDs weighted to indie and alt-rock - the obvious new releases and the ones nobody else bothered to stock, in the same breath - plus books, posters, shirts and a genuinely odd corner of hard-to-find DVDs, Blu-rays and VHS
