Left For Dead started as an idea in the back of a camper van in the Australian outback and opened its first shop in the Custard Factory in Digbeth, Birmingham in November 2013 before settling on Wyle Cop in Shrewsbury. It is an independent bookshop selling new books alongside a curated selection of new records, and it runs its own book club. A shop that is candid on its own site about how hard the trade has become is a shop worth backing.
