Keiji Yamabe was a buyer at WAVE in Roppongi through the late eighties before going out on his own in 1994. He named the shop after a Mexican garage band, ran it in Shinjuku and then Hatagaya for over a decade, and moved it to Koenji in 2015. The sections are its own - a Koenji Balearic corner among them - and the shop carries objects, T-shirts and artists' work as well as records and CDs. Yamabe studied painting, exhibits around Koenji, runs the Jikuu and Sexy Recordings labels and the magazine SPECIALOOSE, and DJs. It is a shop that is clearly one person's output
