Maniac Records opened in Buenos Aires in 2004 as an independent record shop aimed squarely at audiophiles, collectors and people who take listening seriously. Stock is browsable by format, genre, year of release and country of origin, which tells you what kind of customer it expects: vinyl, CDs, cassettes, DVDs and Blu-rays across pop and rock, blues, tropical, jazz, heavy metal, hip hop, soul, electronica and tango. Paying cash or by transfer in the shop takes ten percent off.
