Marche Dauphine is the glass-covered hall at the start of rue des Rosiers in the Saint-Ouen flea market, launched in 1991 on the site of an old alleyway and built in the style of Victor Baltard's Halles de Paris. Under the canopy, record dealers work alongside antique dealers, booksellers, craftsmen and art galleries. This is where the flea market's first vintage hi-fi and instrument stand opened, prefiguring the market's Music Space, and Galerie Dauphine upstairs runs exhibitions all year.
