Millerecords has been on via Merulana 91 in Rome since 1972, and calls itself a historic music shop rather than a record shop. Walk in and it smells of culture and vinyl. Stock runs 33, 45 and 78 rpm records, CDs and books about music, covering everything from Gregorian chant to the twentieth century by way of blues, jazz, soul, rock and its subgenres, and fusion. It opens Monday afternoons and Tuesday to Saturday from 11 until half seven, and there are gift coupons if you would rather let someone else choose.
