Minton's is a jazz specialist created in 1993 by Guillermo Hernandez, trading from Local 26 of the Galeria Apolo on Corrientes 1382 in Buenos Aires. Over the years it has become less a counter and more a meeting place for musicians, journalists and jazz obsessives, and the conversations that happen there have pushed the shop's reach well past selling records. Its long-running blog is the evidence of that.
