Mixed Up is tucked down Otago Lane, a cobbled West End back lane that most people walk past without noticing, and it stocks new and second-hand across whatever it can get - a rare seventies disco single and the current chart release are equally plausible finds. Its location is half its character: the lane holds a handful of independents, so the shop is part of a pocket of the city rather than a shopfront on a main road.
