Mole Music is a records-and-something shop in Nara run by Taro Asakura, sorted the way a digger works rather than by chart genre: house and techno, Chicago oldschool, Detroit house and techno, early house and 90s techno, alt disco and boogie, soul and funk, blues and gospel, jazz and crossover, future jazz and broken beats, various beats, rock, prog and avant, experimental and ambient, world, soundtrack and library, and a Japanese shelf. Labels including Underground Quality, FXHE, Sued, Workshop, Smallville, Nu Groove and Philpot line the racks, and the shop's own Mole Music mix CDs and mix tapes sit alongside them. There is a page for overseas customers.
