Mollema is a music shop and a record shop at once, in Franeker, and calls itself the music shop of Friesland. The workshop handles repairs, modifications and maintenance. Every Record Store Day the crates fill with limited vinyl and the shop runs a live programme through the afternoon on the terrace opposite: garage rock and punk from Pulse, Volendam alt-rock from Lorem Ipsum, a troubadour set from GraafLandgraaf and a teenage band to close it out.
