MoonDog is a vinyl record store in the heart of Las Vegas, right across from the UNLV campus, specialising in rock, metal, punk, psych, new wave, folk, jazz and blues. Clint McKean owns it, wears the beard and will happily talk records with anyone who starts. The collection that sprawls the length of the walls began as his own, a few hundred albums from 2009, and has grown into the double-digit thousands alongside turntables, CDs, cassettes, collectible memorabilia, band shirts, guitars, amps, music books and a boom-box collection he is extremely proud of. When he is not behind the counter, which is rare, he is out scouring Vegas for replenishment stock. The house line is vinyl worth collecting.
