Mendy Werdyger opened Mostly Music on 13th Avenue in Boro Park in 1985, having joined his father's label Aderet Records at twenty-one. It has served the Jewish community ever since - singles, albums and video across the whole range of Judaic music, plus sheet music and electronics - and MostlyMusic.com was the first Jewish music retailer to sell online, which for a neighbourhood shop in the nineties was well ahead of the trade. It sells recorded music, not instruments, which is why it belongs in this directory
