Zane Landreth and Mahssa Taghinia opened Mount Analog in Highland Park in 2012 and it became the shop the city's experimental and underground music organised itself around - a very specific stock of vinyl, cassettes and books, and events like the Nuit Noire series that mattered as much as the racks. The Highland Park shop shut in 2018; after roughly two years it reopened on Hyperion Avenue in Silver Lake. New vinyl weighted towards the experimental, the global, the obscure and the cult, open Friday to Sunday
