Music Mania was founded in 1969 and is the biggest and longest running independent record shop in Belgium, on Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat in Ghent. The racking is where its reputation sits: electronic, hip-hop, funk and soul, rock, jazz, disco, ambient, techno, blues, alternative and indie, reggae and dub, synth and wave, house, punk, stoner, soundtracks, new wave, contemporary jazz, kraut, modern classical, library music and world, alongside its own Mania Dub selection. In 2025 it opened a second branch at Kraanlei 6 in the historic centre, and it runs in-stores and its own label work alongside the shop.
