Norbert Walden founded Musicandbooks in Fürth in 1977 and is still at it, steering customers in the Nuremberg shop towards the sound they are chasing and widening a few horizons on the way. The Munich branch, run by his son Jan, closed on 28 February 2021 after thirty years there, and its stock was folded into Nuremberg. That means more records, CDs, Blu-rays, DVDs, books, comics and sheet music to dig through than before. The shop buys as well as sells.
