New Lifeshark trades new and second-hand vinyl and CDs across 100 square metres in Essen. The stock leans beat, psychedelic, punk, rock and roll, metal, reggae and ska, noise, 60s, mod and powerpop, with progressive rock, jazz, blues, country and singer-songwriter racked alongside. The programme changes constantly and anything absent can be ordered in. Records aside there are T-shirts, posters, magazines, DVDs, jewellery and a shelf of kitsch and curiosities, and they buy as well as sell.
