Occasioni Musicali was founded by Maestro Ugo Guerrini in 1962, first in Via delle Oche, and moved after the great flood of November 1966. Maurizio has owned it since 2001 and works there six days a week. It is a shop of music rarities in the heart of Florence: classical and opera alongside original pop and rock pressings on vinyl, CD, cassette and reel, nineteenth and twentieth century first editions of scores and libretti, and hi-fi and studio equipment, amplifiers, receivers, speakers, headphones, microphones, open-reel and multitrack decks.
