Ongakuyorozuya Kent opened a shop in Iwata built on an overwhelming spread of used records, around ten thousand of them, weighted toward western rock with original pressings and obi-carrying Japanese copies in the mix. CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray, cassette tapes and music books are stocked alongside. The other half of the business is buying: over the counter, by home visit or by post, with assessments done by staff who have put in the years, on the principle that a collection deserves a proper valuation done carefully. Open 11:00 to 17:00 Tuesday to Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday.
