Opus3a was founded in Cihangir, Istanbul in 2010 and describes itself as Turkey's largest independent music store, putting its archive online in 2015. It carries vinyl, music CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray, with audiophile pressings, 200-gram records and 45 rpm cuts given their own sections, and its shelves put Erkin Koray, Duman, Ajda Pekkan, Sansar Salvo and Okay Temiz's Oriental Wind next to Pink Floyd and Quincy Jones.
