Output opened as a music store in 2005 and helped spark a small music scene on the central Oregon coast, running as Output Music until 2011. After a nine-year hiatus the owners judged the timing right and brought it back in 2020 as Output Records, on Highway 101 in Lincoln City, selling vinyl, turntables and electronics and putting on live shows and events. It buys vinyl and runs a VIP scheme for regulars.
