P.I.T. stands for Property Is Theft. It occupies a former laundromat on the corner of South 5th and Hewes in Los Sures, Williamsburg, and functions as a community space, venue and info-shop funded by what it sells: books, and a house-curated Revolutionary Music Archive of records. The programme around it is the point - music lessons, exercise classes, political education, creative workshops, digital archiving and cassette duplication, free or close to it.
