Phonophil on Avenue Pastur in Marcinelle deals in 33rpm and 45rpm records across rock, jazz, blues, classical, soul, funk, disco and electronic, including rarities and collectors' pressings, and every disc is checked, cleaned and tested before it goes out. The other half of the shop is vintage hi-fi: restored Thorens, Technics and Dual turntables, valve and transistor amplifiers and period speakers, all tested and guaranteed. There is a repair and full-service bench for decks, and the shop buys vinyl collections and old audio gear.
