Plato Leiden describes itself as the sort of record shop you normally only see in films, and it has been selling sound and vision in every format history has produced since 1976. Records, CDs, DVDs and outer sleeves out front, second-hand turntables and assorted audio gear alongside. It buys LPs, CDs, DVDs and turntables, with buying hours on Thursday and Friday between 11:00 and 13:00 or by appointment. Walk in on the right day and you will trip straight over a live set, the Rolling Stones release party among them. Open seven days, Sunday afternoons included, and until 21:00 on Thursdays.
