Pop Classics spent more than 20 years selling vinyl and pop memorabilia online before Damian Jones decided to give record store life a go, opening in St Martin's Precinct, Caversham, in September 2023. The shop carries new and used vinyl and CDs, added to daily and priced for all budgets. Damian is in most days with his team to talk records, and the shop puts on local emerging artists and bands, which is how it became a fixture of the precinct. It has since been nominated for a Pride of Reading Award. If you have vinyl or memorabilia to sell, he will tell you whether to bring it in or come to you, anywhere in the UK.
