Psychic sits on 7th Avenue in Park Slope, among the brownstones and cafes, and has been a fixture for getting on for twenty years - it was Music Matters before it was Psychic. The shop is genuinely small and deliberately curated rather than comprehensive: new and vintage vinyl with CDs and cassettes alongside, and Chris behind the counter, who will find you the record or tell you what you should be buying instead.
