The man behind Radiation moved to Rome from Palermo and started at Goodfellas, Italy's main distributor for independent music; in late 2005 he bought a shop and renamed it Radiation Records. It is Rome's punk and alternative haven, vinyl racked wall to wall like a gallery, and it has grown to three shops - Pigneto, Monti and Trastevere - which for an independent this specialised is a real statement of how deep the city's appetite runs
