Randoms opened in September 1997 on the corner of Kalķu and Skarņu, and has been a fixture of Riga for more than twenty-five years - one of the first and still one of the largest record shops in the Baltics. Since April 2017 it has traded from Vaļņu 18 in old Riga, in the building that housed the Vecrīga cafe. Vinyl, CDs and cassettes across most of what people actually listen to, plus band shirts, posters and a lot of oddities, and it works as much as a meeting place for the city's music and film people as a shop.
