Reckless opened its first shop in Islington in 1983 and took 30 Berwick Street in 1984, where it still is - the first record shop on the street and the longest-standing one on it, which is what turned Berwick Street into the Golden Mile. It deals in second-hand vinyl, LPs, 12s and 7s, plus a large used CD section, running across rock, pop, indie, metal, reggae, jazz, electronic, house, soul and funk. The shopfront is the one on the cover of Oasis's (What's the Story) Morning Glory?. There is a separate Reckless in Chicago, going since 1989.
