Ian Clark had spent more than a decade DJing and dealing records online and out of a warehouse - and running DKR, his label reissuing vintage reggae - before opening Record City on Fenimore Street near Flatbush Avenue in 2016. It opens at weekends and it is a crate-digger's and DJ's shop rather than a browser's: reggae and soul first, with rock, jazz, hip-hop, dance and international records behind them, on album, twelve-inch and forty-five. It buys, sells and trades
