The Record Exchange was founded in 1977 by Jean Haffner, and Jean's collection now lives in an old library building in south St. Louis: over 10,000 square feet of music and memorabilia, which the shop reckons makes it one of the largest vinyl collections in the USA. Jean started the Record Exchange 247 Action Auction in 2010 on top of it.
