Records For Future has existed since November 2020 in the pilgrimage town of Werl, about 40 km east of Dortmund, dealing second hand in LPs, maxis and singles plus CDs. The genres are laid out plainly: rock in every form (classic, prog, alternative, kraut, indie), metal, 80s pop, synth-pop and new wave, 60s beat, folk and psych, punk and hardcore, soul, funk and reggae, jazz, blues and hip hop, with CDs in rock and metal. Owner Lars Schneider runs it as a meeting point where music is heard, handled, discovered and argued over.
