Repo Records was opened by Dan Matherson in 1986 in Wayne, PA, with a second shop in Bryn Mawr in 1989, both specialising in punk rock and indie LPs, CDs and cassettes. Repo opened its doors at 538 South Street in 1998 and stayed until 2017, when a bigger storefront came up on the same block and it moved into 506 South Street, the old home of Agent Aloha. It is a smallish shop with a wide variety of new and used music, ranging from metal to jazz, punk rock to hip hop, soul, r&b, indie and classic rock, plus tee shirts, posters, pins, patches and books. Always on the lookout for used records and CDs, and now hosting in-store shows, album signings and listening parties.
