RetroCrates is an independent record store in Singapore, nestled in the local enclave of Katong in the East Coast, selling new and pre-loved records across pop, rock, jazz and more, with new releases, reissues, and hundreds of used titles added to the inventory every week. It began as an online store in 2015, opened the physical storefront in September 2016, and in June 2018 extended the premises with The Jazz Loft, a space dedicated just to jazz. The catalogue also runs through rap and hip-hop, RnB and soul, dance and electronic, Asian pop, compilations, soundtracks, world music, blues guitar and classical, with a deep audiophile section, SACDs, CDs and cassettes, and turntables and audio gear from Rega, Audio-Technica, Linn and KEF.
