Dodds Record Shop has been going since 1951 and bills itself as the oldest record shop in Michigan. Rev Charles keeps the doors open on Saturdays from noon to 5pm in Grand Rapids, with classic original vinyl, CDs and cassettes, a VinylCam, a museum's worth of memorabilia and an accepting-all-media donation policy that keeps the racks fed. There is a Record Store Day parade on the calendar too.
