Rock 'N' Roll Rescue opened on Parkway in Camden Town in 2015, founded by Ian M Carnochan - Knox of The Vibrators. It is a charity shop, staffed by volunteers, and it takes in second-hand music things rather than general bric-a-brac: records, CDs, cassettes, tour shirts, audio gear, instruments and memorabilia. What it raises goes to local causes including the Trussell Trust food bank, the Crossroads Women's Centre in Kentish Town, the Mayhew Animal Home and Food For All, which serves around a thousand meals a week locally.
