Sasaki Records is a used CD, DVD and record shop in Jimbocho, the Tokyo book quarter, opening 12:00 to 18:00 and joining in when the Jimbocho Book Festival takes over the neighbourhood in late October. Classical is its stronghold, with regular CD intakes and sales on boxed classical LP sets, alongside soundtracks including NHK taiga drama scores. Worth checking before you travel: the blog's last post, in May 2021, said the shop was closed for infection control and that a reopening would be announced there or on its socials.
