Seedee Jons opened on 1 March 1993 and is the oldest independent music shop on Jersey, these days working out of the Victorian Central Market in St Helier rather than a shopfront - which suits it, because the appeal has always been Darren behind the counter knowing exactly what you should be listening to next. Vinyl, plus record art and gifts, and it took the MCV Independent Retailer of the Year award in 2019, which is not a thing island shops usually get near.
